I love running our local, weekly running route. Even though we do it once a week it never gets old. almost 9 miles of technical singletrack on the AT and Iron Mountain trails in Damascus Virginia! Beautiful in every season and super fun when we get snow! right now the mountain laurel is putting on quite a show. Saw Karl and several others running Massanutten 100 this past weekend in hokaone's and I would love to try them!

An evening with Karl Meltzer

Join the folks at Kintec for an evening with one of the premier Ultra Runners in North America, Karl Meltzer, for a run at 5pm (6-8 miles) and then at 7pm a Chat with Karl about various topics ranging from his recent Pony Express 2064 mile record setting run, his 14:27 Rocky Raccoon 100 miler, his switch to HOKA shoes, upcoming adventures and tips for veteran and new trail/ultra runners. The chat will be from 7pm-815pm and will be followed by a gathering at the Taylor Crossing Pub to have a beer and share more stories!

Busy week of racing!

In the past two weekends, Hoka One One racers did not disappoint!  Dave Mackey won the Miwok 100 on May 7th and Karl Meltzer won the Massanutten Mountain Trails this past weekend.  Great work gentlemen!  You can read about these races here http://www.run100s.com/miwok/ and http://www.vhtrc.org/mmt/index.htm.
